(Highland, CA) – The Ramos for State Assembly Re-Election campaign announced an endorsement from the California Teachers Association and the United Farmworkers.
“These organizations have faced a very difficult two years on the frontlines of this pandemic,” said Assemblymember Ramos. I am proud that they have endorsed me for re-election, and I look forward to working with them as we move this state forward.”
Assemblymember James C. Ramos, a lifelong resident of the San Manuel Indian Reservation in San Bernardino County, is a member of the Serrano/Cahuilla tribe.
Ramos, the first California Native American to serve in the California State Assembly, was elected to represent residents of the 40th District on November 6, 2018.

Assembly District 45 includes the cities of Rialto, San Bernardino, Redlands, Fontana, Mentone, Muscoy, and Highland. Assemblymember Ramos already represents over half of this district. Governor Gavin Newsom won this seat in 2018 by over 60%. The seat has a Democratic Registration advantage of + 25%.
