(Highland, CA) – The James Ramos for State Assembly campaign has earned the support of the Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO.
“As a leader in the State Assembly James Ramos has stood with the working class to get ahead—from raising the minimum wage, restoring wage cuts for Homecare Providers and bringing resources to our region,” said Ricardo Cisneros, Executive Secretary Treasurer, Inland Empire Labor Council AFL-CIO. “We are looking forward to creating a Better San Bernardino. The Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO is united as one movement in re-Electing JamesRamos to the State Assembly.”
The Inland Empire Labor Council is an organization of workers dedicated to protecting members’ interests and improving working conditions. They represent local unions from every sector of the labor movement.
“Having the support of the working families of the Inland Empire is important to me,” said James Ramos. “I was a member of the labor movement when I was a school janitor and I have not forgotten the challenges that many families face every day.”
Ramos, the first California Native American to serve in the California State Assembly, was elected to represent residents of the 40th District on November 6, 2018, after serving as a San Bernardino County Supervisor for six years.
